Caring Families Society has reserved the whole pool just for foster families! \nNon swimmers are welcome to hang out on the pool deck. There will be a lifeguard on duty\, but foster caregivers will need to stay to support their children or youth. Please note pool rule: an adult needs to be within arms length of any swimmers aged 7 and under with a ratio of one adult per every two swimmers under 7. SUMMARY:Bridge to Belonging Playgroup
DESCRIPTION:Bridge to Belonging Playgroup \nFriday\, March 28th\, 12:15pm to 1:30pm \nFriday\, April 25th\, 12:15pm to 1:30pm \nTree Frog Room – Oliver Woods Community Center 6000 Oliver Road\, Nanaimo Open to all Central Island Foster Families. This playgroup is on the fourth Friday of the month. Geared toward children aged 0-5\, these sessions will include play-based activities\, a small sharing snack\, and a structured language arts circle. Facilitated by Ladysmith- Nanaimo MCFD Resource staff who have training and experience in child development and supported by Caring Families Society\, this initiative aims to create a valuable resource for foster families\, fostering connections and positive impacts for foster caregivers and children.
