SUMMARY:Family Day
DESCRIPTION:Family Day \nMonday\, February 17th \n“Family…” \nIt’s such a small word for such a big feeling. If we are lucky\, family sustains us\, lifts us up\, protects us\, and yes\, sometimes makes us just a little crazy. It’s the places we belong and the people we love even when we pretend not to know them in public. \nFamily is what foster families offer a child or youth in their darkest moments. Caregivers’ definition of “family” is a little broader\, a little more inclusive. It can be a forever thing or a fornow thing. \nSpend this Family Day with the family members that are closest to your heart…those who have been there forever and those who stay for a short time\, those we choose and those who choose us\, those who walk on two feet and those who walk on four. Laugh\, cry\, smile\, hug\, play\, forgive\, make new memories and recall old memories. \nDo it together. Do it as a family.
