Please note the contest is only open to current Vancouver Island Foster Caregivers. If there are multiple caregivers in the home, all/both may complete the survey, however, only one prize entry per foster family is permitted. This survey is available on our website at caring-families.ca. If you prefer to complete the survey over the phone, please call our Regional office (1-888-922-8437). We can also mail you a hard copy if you prefer to complete the survey in that format. You are also encouraged to contact us at any time if you have questions or concerns.
Caring Families Society is a grass roots, non-profit organization contracted by the Ministry of Children and Family Development to provide training and support to foster caregivers on Vancouver Island. Below you will find a list of other organizations that are part of the fostering community and a brief description of their services and responsibilities. While we would very much like to hear about your experiences with other groups/agencies, including MCFD, please understand that our ability to affect changes in these areas is limited. Caring Families Society can, and does, advocate on behalf of foster caregivers to address the concerns, barriers, and challenges you bring to our attention. We will continue to do so.
