Our Local Area Coordinators live and work in various regions across Vancouver Island. They work to provide education, connection, and support services to foster and kinship caregivers by listening to the needs of the community and developing accessible options. Some of the ways you can expect to connect with your local coordinator are:

• Through the organization, scheduling and facilitation of coffee mornings, park days, caregiver support mornings, crafting events, and more
• For recommendations, suggestions, and advice navigating specific scenarios at home and under contract
• Open communication sharing Ministry publications, relevant resources, important updates, and support services available to you at CFS and in the community
• Introductions to fellow foster caregivers
