Suicide Awareness Workshop
CLN Thursday, June 11th, 1:00pm to 2:30pm Crisis Centre of BC Presentation Facilitated by Sandra Beagley Open to Foster Caregivers. Facilitated by the Crisis Centre of BC, this Suicide Awareness 90-minute session will focus on reducing stigma, increasing awareness, and motivating personal and collective action for suicide prevention. The session opens a dialogue about suicide, a stigmatized and challenging topic for many. It helps participants understand the nature of suicide in communities, the needs of people who have thoughts of suicide, and the resources available within the agency or community.
