Who Are the Métis?

Do you have questions about Métis and what that means as a caregiver? This presentation facilitated by the North Island Metis Association offers an overview of Métis culture, history, and the role of the local chartered community. It highlights Métis traditions such as music, dance, and arts while discussing the community’s efforts to preserve heritage and provide support. Attendees will also learn about available programs and services, including cultural events, education, financial support, and advocacy initiatives. Refreshments provided by CRFS REC program.

This event is open to foster and Out of Care Options caregivers and MCFD/CRFS staff. Seating is limited, register today with Lindsy at lindsy.creedon@crfs.ca or 250-202-6036.
