Through Their Eyes: Supporting and Understanding Indigenous Youth in Care Friday, May 8th, 10:00am to 1:00pm In-person at The Old House Hotel, 1730 Riverside Lane, Courtenay Join MSW-ITR Candidates Adam Gauthier and Tarra Tipton for this participatory course. This session supports caregivers in seeing Indigenous youth in care with a trauma-informed, culturally rooted perspective that honours behaviour, mental health, substance use, and development across ages and stages. Participants will gain practical tools to strengthen connection, access supports, and advocate with youth in ways that uphold safety, belonging, and resilience.
