Navigating Emotions: How to Remain Centered When Emotions Feel Overwhelming
CLN Thursday, May 14th, 11:00am to 1:00pm Crisis Centre of BC Presentation Facilitated by Bonnie Cook Open to Foster Caregivers and Out-of-Care/Kinship Caregivers. Emotions are a normal and healthy part of our lives. In this session, the focus is on emotional awareness and practices that can support us to respond more skillfully to challenging situations. Caring Families Society’s coordinator, Bonnie Cook, will host a review and discussion of he Crisis Center of BC’s Navigating Emotions: How to Remain Centered when Emotions Feel Overwhelming (recorded workshop). Participants will be able to share comments, insight, and resources to deepen the learning experience. Following the workshop, participants will receive a link and code that will allow them to create an account with Crisis Center of BC for ongoing access to the recording to rewatch or view the training with children and youth in their home.
